Overpainting, overlaying, new approaches, scraping out fragments, highlighting faults, parts of the picture or covering them up again, the picture in peace
let it stand and then move it again, constantly in this process
be, for me that is my painting.
Preferred materials are gouache, egg tempera and pigments.
For me, role models are the painters of the German Informel, as well as Fritz Winter,
Cy Twombly and Gotthard Graubner.
My art is based on Informel and Abstract Expressionism
on, the art of non-form. What counts is feeling, inspiration and spontaneity.
The role of chance is an important one. He is being experimented with.
Max Ernst: "Chance is a means of forcing inspiration."
The actual creative process itself often involves large gestures,
because paint doesn't come neatly with the brush, but rather becomes high
unconventionally painted, poured, rubbed, melted onto the
sometimes scratched canvas.
